  • Do not dismantle or modify the device. High-voltage components may remain live after power is disconnected.
  • If the housing is damaged, for example after a fall, send the device to an authorised service centre.
  • Keep the device dry. Do not use it with wet hands, immerse it in water or expose it to rain or snow.
  • Use and store the equipment in dry, well-ventilated rooms and within the temperature range stated in the manual.
  • Do not use it near flammable liquids or vapours, or in very dusty conditions.
  • After an intensive series of flashes, allow the device to cool as instructed.
  • Do not attach filters or diffusion material directly to the flash tube or modelling-light bulb.

  • Keep the device and small parts out of reach of children.
Warranty and maintenance
  • In the event of damage or malfunction, contact an authorised Quadralite service centre immediately.
  • The standard device warranty is 24 months; batteries are covered for 6 months and flash tubes for 3 months.
  • Use only flash tubes and parts specified by Quadralite for the device.
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs void the warranty.
  • Mechanical damage and damage caused by improper use are not covered.
  • Clean only the exterior with a dry brush or cloth after switching off and disconnecting power.
  • Wait at least 24 hours after use before cleaning a flash.
Warranty repair

Warranty service requires proof of purchase issued in a European country no more than 24 months earlier. Without a valid document, the service may be chargeable.

Service time

Within 10 working days, the service centre will assess the fault and provide a status update. Standard completion may take up to 30 working days.

Warranty rejection

If the fault is not eligible for warranty repair, the customer will receive a quotation for an out-of-warranty repair.

Out-of-warranty repair

A product outside warranty may be submitted at any time. Before repair, the service centre will inspect it and provide a quotation and estimated completion date.

Transport costs

For warranty repairs, the customer pays delivery to the service centre and the centre pays return shipping. For out-of-warranty repairs, the customer pays both transport costs.

Payment

Payment terms for each service are agreed individually with the customer.
