Quadralite Softbox Hexadecagon 150cm

Quadralite Hexadecagon is a softbox that provides very soft yet easily controlled light, whether you work in the studio or on location. Its sixteen-sided shape creates round, natural catchlights in the subject's eyes, making it particularly well suited to portrait, fashion and beauty sessions.

Quadralite Hexadecagon uses a quick-opening mechanism, allowing it to be prepared, mounted on the light and ready for a session in very little time, then packed away just as quickly afterwards. It is supplied with a practical carrying case for easy transport and storage.

The very deep, tulip-like profile of this softbox is one of its defining features. It allows precise control over where the light falls. If required, Hexadecagon can also be used with a honeycomb grid, available separately.

Hexadecagon is made from high-quality materials. The cover is sewn from premium rip-stop taffeta nylon, combining low weight with high mechanical strength. The interior is lined with a silver reflective surface that redirects the light and distributes it evenly across the diffusers.

The softbox uses two diffusion surfaces made of rip-stop polyester. The material was selected to minimize any effect on the white balance of the light. The inner diffuser also has an additional central panel that reduces the hotspot created by the light source.

The frame supporting the modifier is made of steel rods, while the mounting ring is made of aluminium alloy. This combination provides long service life while keeping the overall weight low.

The softbox uses a Bowens mount, making it compatible with a wide range of studio lights from Quadralite and other brands. With separately available adapters for other systems, Hexadecagon can also be used with Broncolor, Profoto and Elinchrom lights.
