Quadralite Stroboss V1 Canon flash

V1 features a round flash head that produces more natural and even light distribution across the scene than traditional rectangular speedlights. It also incorporates key technologies such as a high-capacity battery providing up to 480 full-power flashes per charge, the built-in Navigator X wireless triggering system and an LED modeling light. Despite its compact size, V1 is powerful, versatile and easy to use, making it the flagship Speedlite in the Quadralite range.

The round V1 head is designed to distribute light evenly across the scene, producing natural-looking illumination even without an additional modifier. This effect is achieved with a parabolic reflector finished with a Fresnel lens. The head also includes a 2 W LED modeling light and a magnetic accessory mount for quick attachment of modifiers such as grids, color filters, barn doors and snoots.

V1 is powered by a high-capacity 2.6 Ah lithium-ion battery that provides up to 480 full-power flashes. One battery is included and can be replaced easily when depleted. With the supplied USB charger, a full recharge takes less than 3 hours.

V1 can be used with the round-head accessory kit originally developed for Reporter 200 TTL. Thanks to the magnetic mounting system, accessories can be attached and removed extremely quickly. A diffuser can be swapped for another in seconds, and several modifiers can also be stacked and used together.

Stroboss V1 includes the Navigator X wireless flash-control system and can be used with other flashes or transmitters such as Navigator X/X2 and Stroboss 36/60. V1 integrates easily with other on-camera, location and studio flash units.

V1 offers an 8-stop flash-power range from 1/1 to 1/256 with precise adjustment in 0.1-stop increments. It is also fast, recycling in less than 1.5 s even after a full-power flash. At 1/256 power it can reach a flash duration as short as 1/20000 s (t0.1). Color-temperature variation between flashes at a given output level is specified at no more than ±200 K.
