Quadralite 800 Powerpack

Quadralite 800 Powerpack can power several flash units simultaneously in locations without access to mains electricity. This gives photographers the freedom to plan shoots in a wide range of interesting locations. The battery is efficient enough to deliver about 150 full-power flashes even with flash units totaling 2000 Ws connected. Its high power reserve and efficiency mean recycling speed drops only slightly compared with mains operation, ensuring comfortable workflow. Quadralite 800 Powerpack supports flash equipment with a combined maximum flash energy of up to 5000 Ws.

The power supply features a wide, convenient handle and a standard carrying case for easy transport. It consists of two modules—an inverter and a battery—so a depleted battery can be replaced quickly. If required, the unit can also operate from an external battery, such as a car battery.

Quadralite 800 Powerpack supplies AC power with a full sine-wave output, an important feature when operating flash units. It can also successfully power computers, monitors and other electronic devices useful to photographers and filmmakers. The inverter module provides three 220–240 V/50 Hz AC outlets and three USB ports, which can power devices such as phones, camera chargers and continuous lights. For example, it can power a 100 W lamp for approximately 80 minutes.

Quadralite 800 Powerpack includes a set of safety systems, including protection against excessive discharge of an external battery—particularly important when such a battery is used. The inverter module is actively fan-cooled and also features overheat protection.
