Quadralite Parabolic umbrella Deep Space 130 translucent

The translucent Quadralite Deep Space parabolic umbrella features a distinctive deep shape and a white surface that both reflects and transmits light. Compared with standard umbrellas, its deeper profile produces a narrower, more directional beam. It combines the advantages of a conventional umbrella with those of a large softbox and is particularly useful for portraits requiring gentle, strongly diffused, soft light. It is also well suited to illuminating larger rooms.

The surface of Quadralite Deep Space has a white finish that both reflects and transmits light, giving it a very gentle character. Its large 16-panel surface produces exceptionally soft illumination with subtly defined shadows.

The fiberglass frame consists of 16 ribs, keeping the fabric evenly tensioned and the umbrella in shape. Compared with conventional umbrellas, the deeper profile provides greater control over the light. Fiberglass also ensures high durability and long service life. The metal shaft allows the umbrella to be mounted easily on any Quadralite studio light.

The translucent Quadralite Deep Space parabolic umbrella can be used with or without a reflector, allowing the full reflective surface to be utilized. Using a reflector narrows the light beam and slightly increases contrast. Sliding the umbrella shaft in the light's holder allows the beam reflected onto the subject to be focused or widened.

The Quadralite Deep Space umbrella is available in three sizes: 105, 130 and 165 cm. It is supplied with a carrying case that simplifies transport and protects it against dirt and damage.
