Sensual photography workshop – from idea to execution

Registration is open for our sensual photography workshop.

Sensual photography is a special genre built around delicacy, intimacy and emotion. It requires trust between photographer and model. During the workshop with Stanisław Surman you will learn how to create atmosphere and produce tasteful, feminine images.

You will also learn how to choose studio lighting, work with continuous and flash light and combine them with ambient light. The meeting is divided into theoretical and practical parts and takes you through the process from planning a session to working with a model.

Theoretical part

1. Preparing for a shoot and finding inspiration.
2. Building an atmosphere and maximizing comfort during the session.
3. Make-up and styling.
4. Choosing the location.
5. Essential equipment: camera, lenses, lighting and accessories.

Practical part

1. Camera settings.
2. Working with flash, continuous and natural light.
3. Working with a model: atmosphere and proven posing ideas.

At the end we will discuss post-production and how not to overdo retouching. Participants will also receive access to a Facebook group where they can share photographs and ask the instructor questions.
