Photography Workshops at Olympus Perspective Playground
Quadralite invited photographers to workshops held as part of the Olympus Perspective Playground creative photography festival in Wrocław.

Quadralite invited photographers to workshops held as part of the Olympus Perspective Playground creative photography festival in Wrocław. The event ran from 15 February to 10 March. Quadralite supported the initiative by equipping the festival studio and organised workshops on creative flash photography led by photographer Peter Bielack.

Quadralite at Olympus Perspective Playground
Throughout the festival, Quadralite provided a fully equipped photo studio for workshop participants. Visitors could see and test our products during practical sessions prepared by Olympus. Our ambassador Arcadius Mauritz presented his “Portrait. The Power of Everything” Masterclass, covering portrait lighting – including classic, sensual and beauty work – as well as composition, visual dynamics, equipment selection, aesthetics and communication with the person being photographed. Jakub Kaźmierczyk led sessions on photographic special effects using flash and continuous light, while Ireneusz Walędzik demonstrated LED panels in extreme macro photography. The full programme was available on the organiser's website.
Quadralite particularly invited participants to two sessions devoted entirely to light. “Building atmosphere with light and colour – flash in practice” was led by Peter Bielack, a photographer specialising in creative flash and light modifiers. “ABC of studio photography” was prepared by Marcin Woźniak, studio-lighting specialist and Quadralite brand manager.
Building atmosphere with light and colour – flash in practice

Sometimes a location is simply not photogenic. Rather than moving elsewhere, lighting can completely transform it. The workshop demonstrated how flash can emphasise selected elements and hide distractions. Participants worked not only with flashes but also with a range of light modifiers – including some unexpected household items.
The workshop ran in two sessions, from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00. Instructor: Peter Bielack.

ABC of studio photography
This session introduced studio photography in an accessible way. It covered basic lighting techniques, what to focus on when starting out, correct camera settings for flash and good working practice in a studio. It was intended for enthusiasts who wanted to try studio photography.
The workshop took place on 7 March from 12:00 to 15:00. Instructor: Marcin Woźniak.
Participation
All Olympus Perspective Playground workshops were free, but advance registration was required because of the educational format and limited number of places.
Registration details were available on the organiser's website.
