Photo walk – outdoor portrait
QUADRALITE · EDITORIAL

Join us for a spring photo walk surrounded by nature waking up after winter.

Kraków’s Bednarski Park will provide the setting for our main subject: portrait photography. The aim is to exchange experience, spend creative time together and bring photography enthusiasts together outdoors.

We will discuss how to make a good portrait, when and how to use continuous light, flash and different modifiers. We will practise careful composition and controlling sunlight and shadows, and work through the problems that often appear during outdoor shoots.

The walk is intended for people who already know how to operate their camera comfortably and want to develop their skills. A professional model experienced in portrait sessions will pose for the group.

Next77 will provide free loan equipment during the walk: Irix 45mm f/1.4 and Irix 150mm Macro 1:1 f/2.8 lenses, plus Quadralite Stroboss V1, Reporter 200 Pro TTL and Atlas 400 Pro TTL flashes. Participants interested in borrowing equipment should mention it during registration.

Instructor

Maja Kupidura – connected with photography since childhood, inspired by her parents who taught photography. After the birth of her son she became deeply involved in children’s photography. Today she works with portrait, sensual and fine-art photography and runs her own studio, where she teaches and creates distinctive sessions.

If, like us, you miss outdoor photography, art and time spent among photography enthusiasts, join us.
