Quadralite Flex 65cm collapsible Beauty-Dish

Quadralite Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish is a versatile light modifier that is lightweight, compact when folded and made from high-quality materials. Used as a beauty dish, it produces the distinctive crisp, contrasty light ideal for beauty, portrait and fashion photography. When very soft light is required, it can easily be transformed into a conventional softbox.

Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish uses a quick-opening mechanism, allowing it to be prepared, mounted on the light and ready for a session in very little time, then packed away just as quickly afterwards. It is supplied with a practical carrying case for easy transport and storage.

The removable central deflector is one of the main reasons why Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish is such a versatile modifier. With the deflector fitted and the diffusers removed, it works as a collapsible beauty dish without the drawbacks of a rigid reflector. Fitting both diffusion panels transforms it into a softbox that produces very soft, diffused light.

The deep, rounded shape of this softbox is one of its key features. It makes the modifier both efficient and easy to use, especially in confined spaces. If required, it can also be fitted with a honeycomb grid, available separately.

Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish is made from high-quality materials. The cover is sewn from premium taffeta nylon with high mechanical strength. The interior is lined with a silver reflective surface that redirects the light and distributes it evenly across the diffusers.

The softbox includes two polyester diffusion surfaces. The material has been selected to minimize its effect on the white balance of the light produced by the lamp.

The frame supporting the modifier is made of steel rods, while the mounting ring is made of aluminium alloy. This combination provides long service life while keeping the overall weight low.

Flex Foldable Beauty-Dish uses a Bowens mount, making it compatible with a wide range of studio lights from Quadralite and other brands. With separately available adapters it can also be used with Broncolor, Profoto and Elinchrom lights.
