Quadralite Reporter 200 TTLProduct description
Quadralite Reporter 200 TTL is a powerful (200 Ws), compact battery-powered flash with a built-in receiver for the Quadralite Navigator X radio-control and triggering system. It delivers the high light quality previously associated mainly with studio flashes and supports a range of Quadralite Reporter modifiers, including softboxes, beauty dishes and umbrellas. Reporter 200 TTL is approximately four times more powerful than standard on-camera flashes from major brands while remaining comparable in size and weight.
Reporter 200 TTL supports TTL automatic flash metering used by DSLR and mirrorless systems from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus and Panasonic (a dedicated Navigator X transmitter is required). This allows the flash to be used even when ambient light changes rapidly and there is no time for manual power adjustment. By communicating with the camera, the flash automatically selects the appropriate output for a correctly exposed image. Reporter 200 TTL also supports High-Speed Sync (HSS), enabling flash use at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s. HSS is available in both TTL and manual modes.
The flash is not only compact and efficient; it also supports a wide range of light modifiers. Its innovative interchangeable-head system lets users choose between two supplied options: a standard head with Fresnel lens and a bare-bulb head with replaceable flash tube. The latter uses the Reporter accessory bayonet for quick mounting of light-shaping accessories and easy tube replacement. Two Reporter 200 TTL units can be combined into a single 400 Ws source using the optional Reporter 200 Twin Head S-holder.
Quadralite Reporter 200 TTL is powered by a compact yet highly efficient 2900 mAh lithium-ion battery. Once fully charged (up to 3 hours), it delivers up to 400 full-power flashes.
