Quadralite Space has an interior finished with a highly reflective material. The umbrella consists of 16 panels, each acting as an individual reflective surface. Its frame uses fiberglass rods instead of the metal ribs found in conventional umbrellas, keeping the construction relatively light and flexible while maintaining even fabric tension. This is especially important because the canopy is significantly larger than that of a standard umbrella. Fiberglass provides high durability and a long service life. The reflective cover is made of rip-stop polyester, making it more resistant to mechanical damage than cheaper alternatives. A metal shaft allows easy mounting on any Quadralite studio light.

Quadralite Space can be used with or without a reflector, allowing the full reflective surface to be utilized. A reflector narrows the beam and increases contrast. Sliding the umbrella shaft in the light's holder makes it possible to focus or widen the light reflected onto the subject.

The umbrella's shape, the large number of reflective panels and the fiberglass frame that maintains the correct profile all help Quadralite Space provide precise control over light spread. The umbrella is supplied with a carrying case for easier transport and protection against dirt and damage. Space umbrellas are available in two sizes: 150 and 185 cm.
